i am imposing a bedtime on myself. the goal is midnight. the reality will likely be one. either way, if i wake up at 8:00 or 8:30 for the new job then i will be getting at least 7 or 8 hours of sleep. which is more than i could ever imagine last quarter!

so this weekend i went back up to tahoe again. and for the first time ever i get to experience REAL snow fall. it was so exciting :]
trip highlights: -nima making pancakes for the entire cabin whilst i joined the guys in watching a game of football. ROLE REVERSAL! i love it :] oh, and these weren’t just plain ol’ pancakes. we’re talkin’ banana pancakes, apple cinnamon...

i got a job :] i’m movin’ on up guys. my days of working in shitty restaurants and shitty retail are coming to an end. next week i start as a research assistant at the center for infant studies on campus. they are doing research and early language development. i’m super excited to start doing research and learning more about how we learn and use language.
oh, and the pay...
